Rent the Conservatory for your Event

Sunnyside Conservatory is owned by the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department.

You must complete a required online Recreation and Park application to schedule an event.

Rental Information (as of February 2025)

Maximum Seating Capacity: 71.  Maximum Standing Capacity: 100.  Six round tables, five rectangular tables, and 65 padded folding chairs are provided, and must be set up by event sponsor. Applicable rental rate + staffing fee is also charged for set-up and clean up time before and after an event.

Community Events: Up to four community events per month, free, except for $25/hour salary for mandatory Rec and Park staffing. Meetings must be open to all, publicly announced, and ideally have community focus. No sales on site. No attendance fees.

Other Events: Two-hour minimum. $156/hour, Monday – Friday or Sunday, includes staffing fee. $500 cleaning deposit. Weddings/Wedding Receptions and all Saturday rentals: $968 Reservation Fee for first two hours, $193/hour each additional hour. Both include staffing fee. $500 cleaning deposit.
