Celebrating the Holidays with Card Making

A big thank you to everyone who came out for the great day! Stay dry and stay warm! Multi-media artist and recycler Monica Lee inspires us once again our card making party. This year, she and artist Dorothy Yuki add ornaments! Check out her wonderful pictures and blog post about earlier incarnations day! Gather up your old holiday cards, gift-wrap, calendars, and magazines. Lots of examples and inspiration for handmade cards and ornaments using recycled, found, salvaged and everyday materials will be provided, along with some card stock, punches, and other notions. Check out the event’s signature origami Envelope Bar make envelopes (in all styles and shapes) out of cast-off calendar pages and books. Children are welcome, but must be supervised by an accompanying adult. Rain or Shine! Co-Sponsored by the Friends of Sunnyside Conservatory and the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. We are grateful to the Glen Park Festival 2014 for a grant to generously underwrite this day.
