Take a Saturday morning and show the Conservatory some TLC. Under supervision of RPD gardeners, weeding, clean-up. Thanks to observant + loyal Friend Sally Ross for keeping an eye on the weeds and getting our workdays coordinated with RPD. Refreshments Served. Our next workday is TBA.

Award-Winning Restoration

We couldn’t have been more pleased when the restoration of the Conservatory won Project of the Year Award 2009 for Historic Restorations (under $5 million). The award was granted to the San Francisco Department of Public Works by the Northern California chapter of the American Public Works Association covering 11 counties. Our Annual Pumpkin Carving

It was balmy for our beloved annual tradition this year. Thanks to everyone who came out to carve, chat, and enjoy hot cider and fabulous halloween cookies. One family made a wonderful San Francisco Giants themed pumpkin to cheer on our Giants who clinched the World Series later that night. See everyone again next year! Start gathering your inspiration now!

Sunday, October 28, 2012. 2 pm-4 pm, Free

Bring-Your-Own-Pumpkin. Pumpkin carving kits and tools, including tools for older children, will be provided. Parents must supervise and accept responsibility for pumpkin carving with children.
